Same shit just tired of being limited

I have yet to make it known on here but I suffered a bad set back from going to Mexico. I first thought it was a muscle relaxer I tried but I think it mainly was Mexico and the muscle relaxer didn’t help. I am worse now than I was 2 months ago. No matter what we do, we find ourselves limited and taken over by this bullshit.

I’m so sorry to hear that @ErikaS :( this shit is so unforgiving I swear. I agree, 100% this bullshit limits you so much. The freaking reactivity is such a bastard. Mines almost electrical like I’m being constantly electrocuted I’m surprise smoke doesn’t come out of my ears at times.

But doctors swear it’s just “anxiety”

@Sammy0225 You’ve made lots of progress and still have lots more to make. In the grande scheme of things you’re still very early in.

@ErikaS I remember you posting about the start of your spike. I’m 2-3 weeks ahead of you in my ‘spike’ it still sucks but I can say it’s better that it was when it first started. Hang in there

Thanks @Hardwell !! I am learning I have to live in even quieter world than I did before but I know that’s what will let me heal and get on the right track again.

@Sammy0225 Yep, electrically run tinnitus and reactivity is my shit. And it not just some simple normal tonal stuff, it’s epileptic electric fits of beeps, ultra high frequency static, in and out tones. This stuff was orchestrated by evil. But you know what, I did it to myself I guess. I should not have gone. I just pray I can improve from here.

I think our brain is in overdrive/hyperactivity in a few places, but I need that SD device because calming down activity in the DCN is a great place to start for tinnitus and reactivity IMO

@ErikaS Don’t blame yourself. You never know exactly what caused it. I got more messed up a few months ago from covid. It can happen from anything. At the start I didn’t protect my ears too much and was around a bunch of noise and still managed to start to habituate (before covid). It’s just so unpredictable.

Sorry guys I’m just in some type of mood lately I’m usually not this bad @ErikaS @SamRosemary I’ll be turning 34 soon and I was hoping this would have gone away or at least the reactivity

Don't be sorry @Sammy0225 , I turn 34 on June 6th and I thought the same thing 5-6 months ago :( We are allowed to be sad, furious, scared, etc. This is a very scary and depressing condition that should absolutely have a true treatment by now, its criminal that it doesn't. If more "certain people" experienced it on our level, there would be a cure already.
