@Tryn2BHopeful I just wanted to let you know that I don't have to have it done. My kidney stone is sitting up high, and it's not bothering me. They saw it in a CAT scan and then referred me to urology. He took additional x-rays of the rocks and called and asked if I wanted them blasted. He said passing an 8mm stone is very difficult if it drops.
Yes it is lol... mine got stuck in my ureter (between the bladder and kidney) 4 months, two surgeries, and alot of blood later it came out.

Did your stone drop, or did you have it blasted, and then it got stuck? I have known about this 8mm stone for years. I passed a 3mm on the other side several years back and they saw the 8mm, The Dr told me it could stay there until I die and never drop.
