That must have been loud to grind down the molar? I have to do a root canal on my lower second molar and I'm absolutely panicking about the drill I found a laser dentist that can partially open the tooth but some drilling is still going to be needed hopefully it's reduced enough... And yes I'm worried about the next step it's either going to be a permanent filling or a crown

Very loud, but didn't last long. After that it was pretty easy. But I didn't have a root canal. I got my permanent crown today. T sucks but it didn't change.

How long does it last? Was there much of the tooth left to start with? I admire your courage to even get in the chair knowing that that would happen my appointment is in a week and a half to get the root canal and I'm already sweating from fear

Entire molar was there. The main part was maybe 5 minutes. It was pretty quick. I cannot speak on a root canal though.
