Thank you! I'm so happy to hear that! This is not an easy thing to deal with and I think we need hope and positivity. I wish more people would share their recovery stories and their positive progress rather than disappearing. I am fairly confident I will end up making a good, if not complete, recovery over the next few months and when I do, I will certainly be sharing my story and staying to cheerlead others. Can I ask how you got your tinnitus? How long have you had it?

I totally agree about wishing those who recover shared their stories. Positivety is paramount to us. I have had so many dark thoughts, I've even looked into Pegasos recently. Its a scary world, Sonia. But I keep balancing that optimism which does counteract those thoughts. I keep note of them and read them every day. For example- 'The greatest majority of new tinnitus cases will resolve within 6-12 months of onset'

I first became aware of mine a few weeks ago after I had an ear infection. I foolishly continued to play quite loud music through my headphones, so I'm not sure which is the culprit. I've also read how Ibuprofen, which I took during the infection 'could' cause this.
I was reading in one of the threads here yesterday how someone had it for 5 years and it then just vanished. So even if its not gone after 12 months, hope may still prevail.
