Regardless of how long they're taking, at least they're trying to create something to help us sufferers. Sometimes things take longer than expected; I know it can be frustrating, but at least we have something in sight. They're at the final steps now, so maybe a year or two of waiting to see how...
I've had it for around 2 months so far. I think it was either caused by an ear infection or the steroids ear sprays they gave. Seems like my T is permanent, but the volume has improved overtime even though I still hear it.
Though I'm not suicidal right now, I wonder when that stage will come. Maybe ten years? Maybe less? I'm concerned about the future. I hope there will be something to help everyone, perhaps not a cure, but at least a treatment.
Yeah, I didn't know what tinnitus was until I got it. My brother knew about it, maybe because he's into music, and he was shocked that I never knew about it.
