Am I the Unluckiest Person on Earth When It Comes to Tinnitus? My 6-Year Tinnitus Nightmare: How One Festival Changed My Life

@Kam75, how are things with you? How's the tinnitus? How's your sleep? I re-read my earlier posts here, and I think what I wrote about sleep and the link is spot-on. Stage 1 (N1) is the lightest stage of sleep and occurs as a person first falls asleep (1 to 7 minutes). Stage 2 (N2) is where...

Severe Hyperacusis and Reactive Tinnitus: How to Treat & Cope?

Agreed. And in the end, it doesn't really matter what term is used when talking about reactive tinnitus, and whether it is this or that. Persistent Tinnitus at 24 Triggered by Post-Surgical Medications (Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Gabapentin, and Oxycodone)

The dip at 3 kHz that I believe you are referring to is actually from my otoacoustic emission result. It is obtained by playing sound into my ear and listening for a kind of echo. It has nothing to do with whether I tell them I hear the sound or not. My actual pure tone threshold at 3 kHz is...

Mirtazapine for Insomnia, Depression, and Tinnitus — How Common Is Tinnitus Exacerbation and What Are Your Experiences?

Hey @Robster, do you still take Mirtazapine to this day? I would say my mental health is pretty much on the floor after nearly four months of tinnitus. I have read so many posts about the connection between antidepressants and worsening this awful affliction, but I am at a point where dark...

Karbamazepina, Okskarbazepina, Gabapentyna, Pregabalina, Lamotrygina, Baklofen, Klomipramina...

Karbamazepina, Okskarbazepina, Gabapentyna, Pregabalina, Lamotrygina, Baklofen, Klomipramina. Are these medications effective for stabbing pain in the middle ear caused by sounds, as well as for worsening tinnitus?
