Thanks I just wondered why Otex leaflet says not to use if you have tinnitus?

I had blocked ears a few days ago and also some tinnitus. I used Otex and my ears seem to be starting to clear. I am now aware that it's not recommended to use Otex. So can it cause permanent damage to my hearing / tinnitus? Hearing is now better but I still have annoying tinnitus noises at...
