It seems like a 20-30 dB recovery in the first 3 frequencies (low frequencies) but there is no recovery in the other frequencies.
I think if there was a 20-30 dB recovery in all the frequencies, they would go for further steps. But what I understood is they thought these gains are not worth...
I am Rainbow 6 player too but I have H. So I can't hear most of sounds like footsteps :( And I can't increase sound because I have to protect my rest hearing.(Gun,Bomb sounds are very high for me). But although that, I am gold 2 this season :)
They said 12 to 18 months at last february. So I guess July to October 2018 that the time when they will start.
I am considering about going to trial but I am not living in US :(
@Aaron123
I wondered something about FX-322. I read the post that you have sent to inner ear headline.
And there was saying that FX-322 is for chronic noise induced hearing loss.
Doesn't this drug work for other types of loss like drug induced ?
(I have read this won't work for who has...
Yes, that is why understood too. But Leviathan mentioned profound hearing loss that don't have supporting cells. Severe hearing loss can have some supporting cells.
That is bad new actually. I supposed loss of hearing is just due to loss of outer and inner hair cells.
In an other saying I thought people with profound loss have supporting cells.
For me I have modarate-modarately severe hearing loss. I have to protect my hearing till the trials start. :(
In...
I once sent e-mail to Rivolta. I asked what condition is about reversing hearing loss. He said replacing neurons is easier than hair cells. And he said that they can produce hair cells in tube but transplanting them will many more years. So their first goal is seems like to fix neurons.
Yes I mean exo-AAV
I guess they have to approve exo-AAV to use for human without damage. Thats why aaron said 'no'
In addition I couldn't see any detail for how anc80 work. Maybe It is different from AAV virus(Atoh)
I read about new improvement in technology of cure ;
https://www.tinnitustalk.com/thread...s-partial-hearing-balance-in-deaf-mice.19820/
I hope they consider this. Can they use this method on next trials?
I don't know if it was already posted or not but I want to share about that stem cell research ;
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4126352/Can-ear-implant-restore-hearing-thousands-people.html
It is right below at the page with a little box.
It is the most efficient news I have ever seen. But what I understood is this is working for genetic hearing loss. Is it true and not working with other types of hearing loss ?
Hmm. I missed this detail. So this is why I sense right direction :D
I think Atoh-1 project will explain some important details about that. We just need some timeç
This research sounds unsense to me because my hair cells were poisened by antibiotics and now I have modarate H. Maybe little amounts of supporting cells cover to hair cells I think.
Great news. I hope we will reach results for human in short time.
Plus question : Is this therapy for just inner ear nerves ? or conclusing hair cells too ?
This is exciting. I hope we won't hear bad gossips like Atoh project about this project. Do you have any information about when they will start to take volunteers or tests ?
Hi I am 19 years old and i am suffering from hearing loss because of ototoxicity since i was 3. I am waiting gene therapy and stem cell cures.Now, i saw LLLT and i have some questions. 1- İs this therapy have side effect(Specially in other frequences) ? 2- İs this therapy working on ototoxic...
