Just an update. Had an MRI. Nothing wrong with my brain. I have very big mishapen sinuses but it's probably not related. So not closer to finding out what's going on - but relieved. Still have loud tinnitus and yeah when the vision stuff happens in particular I feel spaced out / drunk. Good luck...
