Sadly it will only be temporary. The damage is already done. Once the half life of the drug wears off, it will be back to baseline for your T.

I was just prescribed Rapaflo (Silodosin) for kidney stones, but am worried about taking it. Does anyone know if it can make tinnitus worse?

It will take a couple of weeks to go back to baseline, no worries, just ride it out.

It did go back to normal, but I think I may now have made it worse with Omeprazole...

@BobDigi thank you for the really thought out response. I appreciate it. I've been taking omeprazole for about a month and my T just started getting worse out of no where. I've stopped taking it as of this morning hoping it goes back to baseline

@BobDigi So are you saying that the prilosec won't damage the ears but can make T temporarily worse?

@Barbara777, did your tinnitus ever go back to how it use to be as far as loudness after taking methylprednisolone? My tinnitus has gotten louder since I started taking the Medrol pack on Tuesday. I hope it goes back to baseline when I am done.
