Oh you did the lifting with earplugs. Luckily mine resolved itself after two weeks. I hope this helps whoever is reading this.
Hi and thanks for replying. So you’re saying you got distortion from lifting weights?
Not yet, when I first developed tinnitus, they just told me to deal with it, but perhaps this time it could be ETD.
Hi all, About ten days ago, I started noticing a sound distortion in my right ear. I did not take any new medicine and there was no noise...
And no headphone or headset since 3 years ago. Used them at the onset for masking.
No i have been guarding my ears from any excessive noise, clubs - never since my 20's, concerts - never ever. It all started with the remeron...
Hi, after 4 months the time has come to quit. I was on 3.5mg for 1 months and then 0. The result - 10 days of short night sleep (5 hours or so)....
It's not clear - if you tapered from 15 to 7.5 why are you going to back to 30?
The result of what was suggested here by @Vin - it just went away after 2-3 days. What amazes me, is why it took 2 (!!) months for the spike to...
That is an excellent idea. How do i apply it if we have only 30mg tablets here? I know tinnitus is unpredictable but since there was no audiotory...
Hi all, after 6 stable years I’m experiencing a spike for the last week. No noise exposure. The only two factors are a low carb diet and Remeron...
Ask for money then to reveal the "secret".
I took it for several months and it had no effect on my T
Or to translate all that- it's a gamble- and now the OP has to take the decision.
I also think he needs to stay busy but everything else you've said is wrong - there are cases where T goes away and they are not rare.
Why don't you just pack and, like, go away. Seek attention somewhere else. Far away as possible.
You do not need hearing aids with the hearing loss you have. Someone posted a very good advice - don't think it's on this thread, it's in the...
Can you elaborate on this?
No they don't have a permanent effect.
If you are simply willing to place a bet on a Tinnitus increase following clubbing, do it. I think that's the summary of the answers above. I...
This question was one of the most important one i was seeking an answer for in the forum. Why? Because for some people like me masking is...
That's kinda wise to say "I have something that helps but I will not tell you what it is because it's expensive" and "I don't want to feel guilty...
which is exactly what I was saying.... I was quoting the post above.
"maybe 57 got the placebo"
Honestly, would you think the company would have given up on the drug based on skewed test sample?
No those are the two people that WE know about.
I'm sure those people know a lot more than all of us together, but a sample size of 58 does look ridiculous in my very humble opinion.
Was the sample size (58) ever published?
You mean the funeral, not the topic :)
What does smoking has to do with NAC? Are you sleeping in a silent room?
As far as i remember his T was not a result of an ear trauma.
Why? if he never reported the problem to a doctor it would be very easy to lie and get into the trial.
Is it equal to 10mg of xanax?
How much did you take?
But there are plenty of users here that say the opposite, also by what their parents report.
@nills thank you for taking the time to answer but those links are probably horror stories right? I'll skip them...
The doctor asked long ago to drop them, and prescribed remeron. It is a consensus that benzos are not for long term.
Hi all, after more than 3 years and a dose of 0.75mg daily xanax, I think it's time for a change. I know about the ashton manual and read most of...
Very good, this still seems absurd though: "Moderate or severe depression or generalised anxiety" as an exclusion criteria. If I'm depressed I...
Yes that's what i read there which leave this hearing loss criteria unexplained.
I know this was probably already asked and answered but i'm raising the question again - why is the requirement for hearing loss if the pill...
It's easy to give those advices when you don't have to go through what the other one is.... Even if their intention is good.
So how long did this last?
and i think @Viking
Correct. I think that it's all a matter of volume. Keep it low and there's no reason for damage to happen.
Why is it so important? We know that people without hearing damage acquire tinnitus and others not. I understand that we want to know the cause,...
Can we conclude anything from one person who got her tinnitus resolved (75%) ? Is there still a chance that this drug will work on, let's say,...
Yes @linearb that's what i was refering to. And to the original poster- there will be no harm whatsoever from taking one pill AND only on an...
You keep recommending it like it's easy to get as an a pill for a headache.
Wondering how long she suffered from T.
What do you suffer from now without the benzos- anxiety because of the tinnitus? Was there a change in that regard after the benzo withdrawal?
So you're saying that without benzos your quality of life decreased, and you're sure that that's the cause?
Survey.
A question you asked and was missed - you won't lose your hearing due to T. You need, however, to protect your ears.
We have no idea but based on his describtion, we can fairly assume it's a low freq. T that the general concecus about it is that it's easeir to...
Maybe that's correct under regular circumstences, certainly not in this case. To take advantage of one's suffering and to make profit out of it...
I did, and noticed an increase, stopped right away, after 1-2 pills. Christian78 had a very noticable worsening from it which never went down.
Hey, did you gain weight because of remeron?
The shower is actually the only relief for the majority of us, so i would say it's rather odd.
At my inital checkup the ENT gave me tests for vitamins D1 and b12. When i asked what for, he said that low levels could contribute to the condition.
