I am Rainbow 6 player too but I have H. So I can't hear most of sounds like footsteps :( And I can't increase sound because I have to protect my rest hearing.(Gun,Bomb sounds are very high for me). But although that, I am gold 2 this season :)

Yes, that is why understood too. But Leviathan mentioned profound hearing loss that don't have supporting cells. Severe hearing loss can have some supporting cells.

That is bad new actually. I supposed loss of hearing is just due to loss of outer and inner hair cells. In an other saying I thought people with profound loss have supporting cells. For me I have modarate-modarately severe hearing loss. I have to protect my hearing till the trials start. :( In...

This research sounds unsense to me because my hair cells were poisened by antibiotics and now I have modarate H. Maybe little amounts of supporting cells cover to hair cells I think.
