    Thanks @JohnAdams, I almost wish my cause was something other than noise induced because they all seem to be more treatable and more people understand when you say tumour, aneurism or Meniere's. No one seems to understand how debilitating good old fashion common tinnitus can be.

    Hi @Mark A - thank you for the reply. If habituated means changing what I do and where I do it then I suppose the answer is yes, to an extent. I mostly have to physically relocate myself to the right environment or put my headphones on to play some kind of white or pink noise. But if I can’t...
