Somatic just means we can modulate it by moving the neck and/or jaw. But the cause can still be noise induced. They are not mutually exclusive.

I was wondering how Lenire may work with the addition of psychedelics. A lot of people report their tinnitus going away during a mushroom trip. Microdosing increases neural plasticity so it may amplify the effects of Lenire. I'm happy to be the guinea pig on this one.

Hahaha... yes good description. Btw, do you find your tinnitus bothers you when you blast off? And what about a big break through dose? I'm worried the carrier wave could make it worse. Since my tinnitus increased in volume 2 months ago I haven't been game to go beyond a moderate dose.

If that's possible it'd be more likely with an Ayahuasca trip. DMT is too short. Unless you use a vape pen and just keep hitting it again each time you start coming back.

From what I've read and my personal experience flying many times, flying has no effect on tinnitus. I suggest using ear plugs to reduce the engine noise and don't sit near the wings. BUT wear the plugs loosely so you don't increase your perception of the tinnitus by blocking out too much...

I'm interested in this topic too. Keen to start the breathing exercises but as always I'm hesitant to try anything that may make the T worse.

Doubt the modafinil is related to your tinnitus. I use it now and then and have never noticed any difference with my T
