Loud Low Pitch Humming Tinnitus Noise, Sometimes Feels Like the Eardrum Is Vibrating

Did anyone manage to get a definitive diagnosis for this? I have exactly the same low pitch, rhythmic pulsing noise (but not the sound of a heartbeat). Weirdly putting ear plugs in does nothing, but putting fingers in ears stops it, just like others have mentioned. When you take your finger...

    Right Ear Vibrating/Whooshing

Hi there, and apologies for very slow response! I met with an ENT consultant, who tested hearing and pressures - all fine both sides. Has deemed it to be tinnitus. But since then (3 months) it's got louder and night and started noticing it through the day. When it's at it's loudest at night...

Left Ear Tinnitus, Low Pitch, Rumbling, Rhythmic

Left Ear Tinnitus, Low Pitch, Rumbling, Rhythmic

Thanks Mister Muso - think this will definitely help. MRI came back clear thankfully, so just need to find a way to mask the noise!

Left Ear Tinnitus, Low Pitch, Rumbling, Rhythmic

Hi there, New to Tinnitus Talk and have had a long look through the posts but can't find anyone matching my symptoms. I get a low pitch, rumbling, with a slow rhythm noise in my left ear (only ever in my left ear) about once every 2-4 nights, which wakes me up and makes it difficult to go back...
