Have you tried 500 mg of Magnesium? It helps me. It is a high dose, but it makes things a little better. I think this is just a spike for you. Try to rest your ears, and I believe it will improve soon. It took me three months to recover after a dog barked in my ear outside.

Hi Sharon, you sounds like an expert on cats, if you had six of them 😊 Is it normal to a cat to hide under a bed. Maybe i should build somekind of cat house to her? i want it to notstay under my bed so much. But it still a new home for her, so it will get better with time i think 😊

@sarahlouise89, has it gotten any better? For me, it usually goes away after a few weeks. It does go away for me. If I take B12 and magnesium, it usually goes away faster. It often happens in my right ear.

I do not think overprotecting is helpful. My tinnitus gets worse when I do.

I thinking of getting a dog or a cat, cant decide. To keep me occupied from my tinnits and TTTS :)

Not yet, but I’ll try and see if I can get hearing aids. 🙂 My hearing was fine before, or at least that’s what they said, but I think it’s worse now.

How did you tinnitus get better?

Earplugs help reduce the noise I hear, and having a fan next to my ear helps a lot. I can't hear the sound as much then. My tinnitus is caused by GERD and can last for up to 30 hours. I find that a high dose of magnesium seems to help a little, and applying liquid magnesium around the ear also...
