I took Trazodone for a couple of months, and it seemed to help with sleep without making my tinnitus worse. I also took Mirtazapine for a few months in 2024, which caused heart arrhythmia, but I did not notice any change in my tinnitus.

I had a similar experience with Clonazepam back in the 1990s. I took it for a few weeks, it reduced the tinnitus, and after that, I was able to sleep naturally.
