@FGG made a good point about his generation's attitude to doctors. We are the odd ones out. Most people never really research about their conditions and put all trust into the most expensive doctor they can find.

Sadly looks like Kent wasn't able to cope and took his life before he could do any research, I'm confident that if he knew about the pipeline he would have waited at least a bit more.

Imo it doesn't really matter under what indication it gets released, just that it does. There's a pandemic going on, we can always convince a doctor to give it to us. I think it's even going to be OTC.

Sound Pharmaceuticals agreeing to come on the Tinnitus Talk Podcast is a sign of confidence in their drug, which should be available late this year or early 2022.

That is great news! Hopefully they can start the trial ASAP; I'd love to try it out but I don't have Meniere's nor am I US based.

Does anyone know if SPI-1005 will be made available first as a COVID-19 drug or will the STOPMD-3 trial be done first? The COVID-19 trials have a priority/urgency but I don't know how well Ebselen will do in them. On the other hand, Phase 3 for Meniere's isn't even recruiting.
