I'm concerned about the vibration I hear from my earmuffs around my ears when I walk with them on. I'm not sure why this happens but I'm worried this is something to be cautious about.

I bought muffs to protect me from loud noises, not to hear my amplified foot steps directly into my ears.

Could this be damaging my ears more by affecting my tinnitus?

I hate that footstep effect too lol. Always worried about whether or not it'll affect my ears but it should be okay.

Has that been proven to damage ears?
If you are talking about the sound that you hear when you walk while wearing hearing protection, then the answer is - no. We are being recommended to wear hearing protection, despite those amplified sounds. You can alter the way you walk to reduce that noise.

Yes, same with ear plugs. It's the nature of the thing.
