I realized that there was no Polysomnography and Sleep Disorders thread in the Research News section, so I created one.

Analysis of Polysomnography in Patients with Sleep Disorders Accompanied by Tinnitus

Results:
There were statistically significant differences in the Periodic Limb Movement (PLM) index, sleep latency, and lowest SpO2 between the group with tinnitus and the group without tinnitus. The tinnitus group exhibited lower PLM index, higher sleep latency, and higher lowest SpO2 compared to the group without tinnitus. When analyzing the PSG results based on THI scores, a significant negative correlation was found between THI and REM latency. There were no significant differences in the average scores of questionnaires between the group with tinnitus and the group without tinnitus. Multiple regression analysis also did not reveal any significant correlations between THI scores and questionnaire scores.
