Can a cold or allergies exacerbate pulsatile tinnitus?

I do not have pulsatile tinnitus, but I have tinnitus due to severe hearing loss. My tinnitus is absolutely worse when I have a cold or allergy symptoms. Many people without chronic tinnitus even experience it during a cold. So I absolutely think it can make pulsatile tinnitus louder.

Absolutely. If the there's acute or chronic sinusitis inflammation and the e.tubes are involved, the ears can not balance sound and air pressure properly.

My PT always gets worse when I have cold or sinusitis.
