Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
So I have pulsatile tinnitus and regular tinnitus and I'm terrified of making things worse ... it's my biggest fear ... could vitamins cause the pulsatile tinnitus or tinnitus to get worse?
Everyone is different, but for me, natural supplements like vitamins have not made my PT and T any worse. I think you would be pretty safe taking them.
Prescription drugs are what you should be cautious about. Before taking any prescription drugs, I think it's a good idea to do some research, and make sure they are not ototoxic. If they are, ask your doctor for an alternative.
Also, you can Google "omeprazole ototoxicity" and read the comments and reviews. It is probably not the most common side effect of the drug, but it may be a possible side effect.
