I had a CT with contrast and it came back with SCDS.
This is not a vascular cause - just for those who insist that all pulsatile tinnitus is vascular. It is not.
For anyone else who is wondering I'll summarize my symptoms:
-high pitched, cardiosynchronous pulsing.
-usually audible but varies from very loud to barely audible.
-made worse when exposed to sound (seems to make other SCDS symptoms worse for people that suffer from vertigo, etc as well).
-pressure down on top of head will attenuate the pulsing sound substantially.
-minor headaches, pressure pains, etc, not as severe as some others report with SCDS.
-worse at night, best in the morning.
-cardio helps.
-hydration helps.
