After having tinnitus and hyperacusis for 3 years now (since June 15, 2015) it has gotten significantly better, until for the past 2 months my ears are feeling like they are collapsing, any suggestions?

Should I expose myself to sound more or rest?

you have hearing loss 100% guaranteed.
Most ENT's dont keep up to date with research and they only test for hearing loss in the human voice range.
