I am afraid of my country and the people in it now. My mind is so gone that I still cannot process what is happening.
As a woman, disabled and LGBT identified, I have a lot to fear. And my friends, many who belong to more disenfranchised minorities (Muslims, people of color), will have a burden to bear far beyond mine.
Right now I am equally afraid of the anti-science, anti-disability acceptance rhetoric that emperor Cheeto backs, and this therefore puts hearing disorders and tinnitus in the line of fire.
I do not know what to say, other than we Americans, as tinnitus sufferers, as the hearing impaired, and as the balance impaired, need to stand together and watch our backs.
