So I had the tympanometry and acoustic reflex test about a week ago and was left with worsening T, white noise and ringing in my good ear"
Went back to the doctor and talked several times about how I felt the test was too aggressive and she agreed but didn't think any hearig loss resulted as she did a second audiogram two days after the test .
Today I did gentle massage in that side under my ear and neck and now this constant clicking has appeared. Kind of sounds like the tensor tympani thing. So frustrated and panic now setting in since I thought it would have passed by tonight.
Is this dangerous, chronic, or indication of worsening ear?
I read one post where a guy said he went deaf three hours after hearing this.
Anyone have some ideas about this or can answer my questions above? I would really appreciate any support now.
