Hair scratching eardrum?

Hi all,

The last two days (had it before) I hear s scratching sound every time my eardrum moves. Atleast, that is what I think it is. If I jawn, chew or squeeze my eye shut (I believe this causes the tensor typani to vibrate). There are weeks when this never happens and than all of a sudden it is there. This marning after cleaning my ears with a q-tip it was gone.

My best guess is that it is just a hair scratching the eardrum. anybody had this experience?

Get it checked. An ENT can tell it in seconds...sometimes it's the reason for sounds in the ear and when they remove the hair it's gone completely
