So for a year through my tinnitus I've been a one sided headphone user (on my better ear). 3 years since that I've been completely off the phones. But recently I've noticed something for the past year or at least 6 months.
If I put my headphone in my left ear, as the volume raises my tinnitus in the right ear goes wayyy up. To past unbearable levels. I assume its my brain raising the gain on the tinnitus to match the sound level on the other side. This does not happen when I put in both headphones. Anyone notice the same or willing to test?
