Hey everyone my name is Portia Green and I have had tinnitus over a week now....it all started one night while I was sitting up with my daughter doing our normal routine...I heard an echo from the tv in my left ear and was like whoa what was that and I instantly panicked...the next night I notice a low buzzing in my ear...now kind you I have anxiety really bad so the low buzz in my ear has made me spiral out of control and it has been this way for over a week...I can't live like this!!

Hi Portia and welcome! Your situation could be temporary. I think you should see an audiologist and have your hearing tested, or perhaps an ENT. Sometimes, the source of these problems cannot be found but I would try. Please keep us posted.

Hi Portia,
I had a low buzz when it first got tinnitus.
It was on and off for a week and has stayed away (thank goodness).
Unfortunately I now have a high pitched hiss, not really sure why the low buzz came and went.
Hopefully this settles down for you.
