Assuming that neuroplasticity does indeed cause tinnitus by trying to compensate for the gaps in hearing frequencies of course.
Just wondering if there is some kind of a connection, because all of the members on here seem very intelligent and articulate...
I find that pretty rare compared to other forums that deal with different topics, be it automotive or politics.
I don't think I ever came across a post in here, which appeared to be written by a lower functioning individual as of yet.
Is it possible that people with higher degree of intelligence and self awareness are capable of higher degree of neuroplasticity and therefore end up with tinnitus as opposed to the hillbilly kind, who cannot put together (or spell) more than one simple sentence and who's brain will simply not even bother trying to compensate?
