Cause of Tinnitus
clogged Eustachian tubes (probable)
Hello, everyone!

I've been dealing with tinnitus for about four to five months now, following a severely clogged Eustachian tube incident around Christmas. Before this, I never really noticed any issues with my tubes, except for one time when I experienced vertigo for a couple of days. That episode resolved after doing those side-lying ear crystal exercises for about a day. I am unsure if this is connected, but I remember my husband bought a new furnace around the same time, which filled the house with smoke — so anything is possible. I also have slight hearing loss, which I assume is from attending too many loud parties and raves during college.

Since then, I have been trying everything I can to improve my situation. I have been losing weight, cutting out processed foods and sugar, visiting a chiropractor, and recently trying saunas. I also bought a mini trampoline after hearing it can help with lymphatic drainage. I chose it because I am a bit overweight, and running is difficult for me.

I just assembled the trampoline and bounced on it about 40 times, fairly aggressively. Afterward, I felt like my ringing was slightly worse, and I experienced a brief, mild sense of vertigo that went away quickly. It is hard for me to judge the severity of my ringing because it always bothers me. I tend to think it is quite bad, but there are times when it feels louder, especially if I am dehydrated, stressed, or overly fixated on it.

Should this experience with the trampoline scare me off? Should I continue using it? I think many of us know the hyper-paranoia that can come from reading too much online and hearing all the terrible things that can happen. I remember visiting Reddit when I first started researching tinnitus, and it practically gave me PTSD.

Has anyone had success with a mini trampoline? Thank you all so much, and I hope you are doing well.
