Hi everyone,
I'm currently dealing with cochlear hydrops and pretty distressing tinnitus, which has made sleep especially difficult. I'm exploring options to help with insomnia, but I'm also very cautious because I'm sensitive to anything that might make my tinnitus worse, both while on the medication and after stopping it.
Two options that have come up are Mirtazapine (Remeron) and Trazodone. I understand that everyone's response is different, and I'm not looking for medical advice—just hoping to hear about your personal experiences.

Thank you in advance. I wish peace and quiet for all of us.
Warmly,
Ernesto

- Has either one been helpful for sleep without worsening your tinnitus?
- Did you notice any changes after stopping the medication?
- Any other thoughts or gentle options you've tried?

Thank you in advance. I wish peace and quiet for all of us.
Warmly,
Ernesto
