I got mold in my house.

Workers incorrectly built a fireplace with a chimney on the roof. Rain began to fall through the pipe into the fireplace and the ceiling.

This is damp. Mold was formed from the dampness.

Recently, I began to experience a headache and tinnitus spikes more often.

Perhaps this is somehow related to the mycotoxins released by mold?

Could very well be. I worked in mold restoration for 7 years. I've never had a problem with it. I did have a few customers that had huge problems with it and if they spent a weekend away from their house there symptoms would go away. This ranged from headaches general unwell to an elderly women that was bleeding from her ears! If you're handy you can do it yourself for a lot less than having it done
