It's now been nearly 2 years of dealing with rhythmic tinnitus. I've had all the necessary workup and scans, which exclude a vascular cause, and my hearing is normal in the left affected ear.
I've got an appointment to see Prof Bance to discuss whether middle ear pathology, such as the tensor tympani or the stapedius, could be causing this rhythmic tinnitus. If anyone's seen him or knows his work, your input would be appreciated regarding what I can expect.
