I've read a lot of conflicting reports on here, but I recently had a hearing test where the tones started at a slightly uncomfortable volume. Afterward, the audiologist told me they began at 35 dB. Since then, I feel like I have developed a new tone in my head or right ear.
I have had hearing tests before that did not seem to affect me, but I am feeling much more sensitive at the moment. The test results came back fine.
Has anyone experienced a permanent new tone after an audiogram, or did it eventually fade after some time?
