Can you pop the splint out with your tongue??

When I yawn my teeth chatter. My teeth used to do it worse, but I got the splint loosened. I can pop my splint out with my tongue, I think I'm going to loosen it just a tad more.

I don't think so? Mine goes over my lower jaw, and it clicks on there pretty good, I generally use my hand to rip it out.

Forgot to sleep with it last night and now I'm a bit more eeeEEEeeee than usual.....

My splint's fit is a little snug...

My jaw sometimes chatters when I yawn, and the more I loosened my splint, the less my jaw would chatter. I'm thinking about getting it loosened just a tad more.

My name is Ken and I have tinnitus and TMJ for which I am getting treated with splints.

I am interested to see if you got benefit with the splints and about how long it took for the jaw to get better and if it helped your tinnitus any.

I am almost 6 weeks in and mainly dealing with the jaw pain and tinnitus but I know I was told it could take 12-16 weeks.
