Phone Vibrating Near Ear — Could It Cause Damage to Hearing or Worsen Tinnitus?

Hi guys,

Have had a lot of fleeting tinnitus the last couple days which has made me worried again.

Today I plugged my ears with my fingers while holding my phone in my hand. I then got a message and the phone started vibrating. I could clearly feel and hear the vibration in my ear as it conducted through my finger to my ear.

Could something like this cause damage?

I had my phone under my pillow right under my ear and the alarm was vibrating full force and I was terrified, but I had no spike.
