Cause of Tinnitus
Loud music at concert
About 2 hours ago someone at work thought it was funny to try and startle me by smashing a clipboard on a desk about 2 feet from my right ear. I didn't even really hear the sound, because I immediately got a full feeling in my ear and increased ringing. This went away after about 30 seconds and I don't think my tinnitus has increased as of now.

What do you guys think?

You're probably okay. You are definitely a calmer individual than me, if someone purposely made a really loud noise next to me ears the next thing that would be slamming down on that desk would be their head.

Most of the spikes due to stuff like that ought to be temporary.

Try to ensure that this doesn't happen again, but if I were you, I wouldn't be Too worried. If you get a spike and it lasts for over a month, then you might begin to worry. Right now it is too early to worry.

I'm presuming that this individual didn't know about your hearing condition? Not funny at all. I'd be raging if it were me!!
