Has anybody had a hearing loss,regained most of it back and then lost it again. I had all of my loss in the left ear in the lower ranges from 250 to 1000. After taking prednisone 95 % of hearing came back but I lost it again 2 weeks later to almost the exact spot.
Has this happened to anybody else?
Also, I get this distortion sound when I or somebody else is talking. Its almost like the treble or bass needs adjusted on a radio. The odd thing is when I use the left ear on the phone the ring is distorted and the voice is only a little and I can clearly here what the voice on the other end is saying. Its like when the phone is pressed up close to my ear the voices don't bother me as much. I am now on another dose of prednisone and see the ent next week.
