Hi there,
I'm new. Thanks to all involved for this forum.
I had 'normal' tinnitus symptoms last year that kicked up in September, along with sensitivity to sound. Realised at one stage in early October that going out for walk was making symptoms worse (little bit of traffic, some wind). In a bid to level the symptoms I stopped going out. Didn't know how else to stop the levels.
Been a lot in silence, even though I knew it wasn't always advisable but it was working in stopping levels of T.
Experiencing over sensitivity now, to household sounds. Putting on heating system is causing a reaction.
Working remotely with an audiologist but it's really slow and we need to get the heating on asap.
Has anyone ever dealt with this kind of thing please? I know that pink noise etc will be recommended but I'm not at that point yet.
I'd welcome any advice or help. (We've tried to bring down the volume of the heating boiler with some success.)
Thank you
