Tinnitus Spikes for About a Minute When I Fall Hard Snowboarding

I snowboard and sometimes when I fall hard (I fall all the time) my tinnitus spikes for about a minute. There isn't a loud noise when it happens so I know I'm not damaging my ears but why does this happen? Is it because of the stress on my body when I impact the ground?

I feel like anxiety also has something to do with my tinnitus.
