I have had pulsatile tinnitus in my right ear for nearly 10 years. It started mildly but gradually worsened until it became constant and extremely high-pitched, to the point that even white noise could no longer mask it.

CT and MRI scans showed nothing abnormal, and multiple ENT specialists said my mild septal deviation was not related. They did not recommend surgery, as my breathing symptoms were not severe. A neurosurgeon was the only one who suggested there might be a connection, but he referred me back to ENT.

Eventually, I chose to undergo rhinoseptoplasty for cosmetic reasons, without expecting any change in the tinnitus. To my surprise, the tinnitus disappeared immediately after the surgery. Now, on day three after the operation, it is still gone. When I do hear it, the sound is about 90 percent reduced and no longer constant.

I wanted to share this in case it helps anyone else going through the same thing. I know how isolating and exhausting this condition can be, and I never imagined relief would come in this way. I hope it is not just a temporary change or a coincidence.
