Why Do I Hear Tinnitus in Both Ears When I Have Noise-Induced Damage in Right Ear?

I was wondering why I started hearing T in both of my ears when actually PTA (Pure Tone Audiometry) shows noise induced damage in my Right Ear only, can anyone throw some light on this weird phenomenon?

Because latest reasearch shows that T originates from the brain, not the ear.
