Wind Sound in the Ears?

I have hissing/very low pitch ringing sound in my ears. From the last few days, I noticed that on covering my ears with fingers I am hearing vibrations/ wind like sound as well ? Is it normal ? Anyone else here experience such symptoms ?

That sounds like the rushing of the blood vessels in your ear to me. I've always had that.

When people around me are too loud though, I get a drop in hearing + a whooshing sound. Dunno if that's what you're talking about too.
