      Hi Ruth. Unfortunately my ear infection led to a ruptured eardrum which still hasn't completely healed now a year later. The tinnitus is still there but only when I really focus on it. It's not been bothering me at all and I never notice it.

        I'm sorry to hear that but glad it does not bother you. Was it an outer or middle ear infection do you know?
