to my previous msg, I have T and nothing changes that (only get spikes from caffeine and aspirin temporarily) but pulsatile T was annoying

I got pulsatile T a while back, but it got resolved with a micro suction wax removal. So give it a try even if it feels like it can't be it.

There hasnt been any change in my T since it started. I'm used to it. I'm living a normal life. I hope everyone here can reach the same.

Having the right people around you makes a world of a difference. My ex couldn't understand my pain. My current partner does. Mental relief

I always tell people who don't have T that it's like an episode of black mirror. Unexplainable endless loop.

I'm used to my tinnitus now. It hasn't even been a year. What I mean by used to is, I get miserable... But for moments I forget it's there.

Pretty much habituated. I know it sounds crazy how "quickly" I did, I do hate T, but it's not consuming my enjoyment of life anymore.

I learned that I have to forgive myself. Producing music was not evil or wrong. It's like cooking and causing a fire, it can just happen.

Just had a way louder T spike that lasted 4 seconds. I hope that T is not coming or is a sign of anything that can happen. :l

It was likely fleeting tinnitus, very common (I used to have it even before my onset)!

@buttercake I thought it was the passing one yeah. The only difference from before T is that it was this time with T extremely loud compared last time i heard it... but i guess its just how it is eh? thanks for commenting :)

@Anniz Yeah it can be very loud (and scary), but it almost always subsides in few seconds/minutes.

I'm not even kidding. Today is the 6th day in a row from last couple days break they had. And It's also the 4 same songs on repeat. Playing currently - Alma, Chasing Heights. Yes, I can hear the lyrics clearly.

@Tezcatlipoca T lowered for them to a level that they can say "it doesn't bother me." They have to remain careful, as noise exposure (long car drives) can still spike it, but within a day it still always comes down and because of the years of experience, they do not worry about temporary spikes. It always comes down eventually. I agree, we will overcome!

This is a beautiful post. Your parents sound amazing! Bless them both. :) I also totally agree with their advice - they clearly know tinnitus very well. You’re in good hands @Anniz. I hope yours settles down too. I’m sure it will. I had super loud T to begin with, and mine no longer bothers me. You’ll get there. <3

@Steph1710 Thank you for the encouraging words! I am grateful for them indeed, of course hoping everyday that we all have freedom from this. Now when I visit them, I don't have to be in the room worrying if someone will do a loud noise.. We all just want to enjoy that quiet volume TV. :) Bless your heart Steph. <3

Multiple tones, more in the left ear. Some tones are "jumpy" they keep dissapearing appearing multiple times in a second. Most are constant

You’ve just described my tinnitus perfectly. Don’t worry, even I’ve managed to 90% habituate to all these random beeps, tones, and pitches. And I’m the most noise sensitive person around! :)

@Steph1710 The first days I was extremely sensitive to sound as well.. still am but the sensitivity seems to be fading. Sound is tolerable level currently. Sometimes louder. I also have a thing called Semi-Patulous Eustachian Tube, where I can hear my own voice ridiculously loud. This is occasional though like after excersise.
