    snow47...You get used to it. In 20 years of having it, it has gotten louder but not intolerable. Usually there are enough distractions to mask it most of the time. I guess I have lived with it so long it is only bothersome if I focus my attention on it. Chris

    Understanding/Controlling Pitch of External Noises

    So I am trying to control the loud noises around me at work and am hitting a few road blocks. I have Tinnitus and mild hearing loss in my right ear in the 7000 htz range. I am looking into custom molded ear plugs with an attenuating filter and am trying to find what pitch range the machines...
