Try to use COENZYME Q10 - 100mg 3X per day (for 30 days) - it's recovery your "ear hair cell" stress - www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25209035
at night for sleep, try to use sound in your bedroom (I use "Sleep Pillow App" and "myNoise IOS app"),

      Hi Christine Fisher

      Happy for your reply :)

Unfortunately not all ENTs know how to deal with it. Here in Brazil is the same.
But I know that when the "acoustic trauma" is recent the chances of recovery are 100% (doctor tell me)

Dear Eduardo, thank you so much for your supporting messag! It means a lot,, I hope you current crisis to end soon and go back to normal :) I am trying to stay positive and ignore it. I am lucky to hear it only at silent rooms and at night; not during the day. The city noises cover it up..

I am happy to be part of this community now, I feel less alone, though I felt sad seeing so many people suffering from T, even more than me..

In my case I'm having a crisis now (3 weeks in row), but I live with T (it) more or less 15 years, I'm years without noticing anything (except in absolute silence, or extreme quiet room), I had only two crises over the years (now having the worst) :(

      Hi Christine

      I saw your post

The appearance of your tinnitus is recent, right?

You have 99,9% chances of full cure. Believe it !

First of all, no despair, Don't freak out :) - (I know this is the hardest part, but your brain will adapts naturally soon)

look for an otolaryngologist, do not procrastinate, there are medications and vitamins that can recover RECENT DAMAGE (your case).

I went to an otolaryngologist and he gave me steroids for 10days to see if the trauma will get better, but did not help.. What vitamins are better to take to ake it better? He didn't tell me anything for this. He told me to go in a month again to make a hearing test and see if my hearing is affected.
