I wonder if my subconscious hears tinnitus in my sleep. I hope not because I take comfort in the idea that I hear silence in my dreams. :/ Feb 23, 2018 at 5:13 AM

It doesn't thankfully. When you hear tinnitus in your sleep, it's the memory of it, not actual tinnitus. That's why it's so variant in volume.

In the beginning I often had T in my dreams, and in them I was subjected to loud noise that made it worse, a real nightmare about T.....now I don't dream about it anymore.....so thankfully I have "silence" in my dreams now......The one place I can get relief :/

Well my name is Katie and I am 16 years old. I have had tinnitus since I was 15, it has been about a year now. I love reading, some of my favorite books are The Giver, Graceling, and Harry Potter. I also love learning languages but that is a relatively new hobby.
If you have ringing ears then you've come to the right place. We are a friendly tinnitus support board, dedicated to helping you discuss and understand what tinnitus treatments may work for you.
