Firstly I must say WOW, I taught I was alone when some uninvited person started renting space in my head.
I work for a major pulp and board producing company for 35 years, around 2015 I started experiencing noise induced hearing loss, which worsened over the next few years by 2018 I had a hearing loss of around 22%, so I think that is where my tinnitus stemmed from.
It was late December 2018 when I was driving and suddenly started to hear a hissing noise, so I assumed it was coming from the air conditioner or maybe the radio, which I turned off, but the noise still persisted, so I pulled off and got out of the car, only to find I was the carrier of this noise, this was one of the worst days of my life
